ROLE

This position reports to the Operation Support Manager.

Manage the commissioning process during implementation of, as well as schedule and budget within client procedural boundaries.

-Prepare commissioning budgets for project work.
-Work in conjunction with Project Managers, Facility Managers, Operations staff and clients.
-Define commissioning requirements for projects and monitor contracted consultants to ensure compliance.
-Review of specifications, drawings and end user requirements including development of commissioning specifications.
-Develop equipment sequence of operation.
-Review procedural and operations maintenance documentation.
-Ensure equipment is identified and inventoried (CMMS).
-Verify site installations are in conformance with drawings and specifications.
-Coordinate startup and testing of systems.
-Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance.
-Maintain lessons learned log to ensure continuous improvement of the commissioning service delivery.
-Provide ongoing technical operations support and support of building assessments and capital planning.
-Provide re-commissioning and retro-commissioning services to client as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of five year working experience in a related industry
Willingness to travel when required.
Knowledge of HVAC, Control System Design, Mechanical and Electrical systems.
Adept with desktop computer software i.e., MS Word, Excel, and have proven Technical writing, risk management and communication skills.
Completion of High School with a specialized technical or building mechanicals course/program.
Community college diploma or equivalent training is an asset.
University graduation or professional certification (e.g. CET, P.Eng. or equivalent of technical years of experience) is an asset.

SALARY

Annual Salary $70,000 per year + bonus + excellent benefits + room for growth.
