ROLE A growing, Vancouver based start up company in the construction and warranty business is actively seeking a qualified Sales Executive to join their team and represent the Alberta/Calgary Region. This position involves selling to all level of Builders, Developers, and Construction companies throughout Alberta. Although, my client company is less than 2 years old, it has a proven and highly innovative product offering, with an established and extensive client base in the BC area. Demand for product along with recent sales order volume and solid financing plans, is causing my client to concentrate their focus on further expanding and building their sales operations nationally across Canada.
SKILLS Qualifications include, previous outside sales and marketing experience, technical aptitude, and excellent customer service skills. My client is seeking a seasoned high level, Sales person to actively market and introduce their company to the Calgary/Alberta region. The product involves leading edge technology and is a value add product/service which can be applied to many venues, ranging from building sites to boardrooms. Industry knowledge of the Real Estate, Construction, and/or Insurance business would be an asset.
Reporting to the CEO this position will be focused on saturating the Alberta Region, and requires a tenacious individual, who understands the sales cycle and is focused on building long term relationships. You must have 5 years experience in sales, or sales management and a proven track record. You need to be highly organized, a self starter, and confident in dealing directly with executives and customers.
