Role One of Canada’s leading Property Management Firms is currently seeking a qualified Construction Manager for their Calgary location. This position reports to the Senior Project Manager and is responsible for managing projects and contracting activities within established guidelines and policies, in addition to directly overseeing the projects, with regard to scope, schedules, budgets, documentation, progress reporting and forecasting of final target positions. Duties also extend to direct involvement with the tender processes, contract formation, and contract performance management, including on site coordination with contractors and trades, while also making recommendations for project funding, commitments, and expenditures from inception through to satisfactory closeout of projects.
Skills The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of construction/engineering/project management experience and the ability to prioritize and multi task with strong organizational skills.
