A large Engineering Company’s Property Management Division is seeking a qualified Project Manager to work in their Downtown Vancouver Offices. Reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the planning, organizing, implementing and controlling all assigned critical projects.


Develop project budgets and schedules, monitor cash flows and schedules, engage consultants and contractors, update status of projects monthly, and ensure client approved funding is in place prior to any financial commitments.

Ensure projects get implemented as per specifications, contract terms and conditions.

Minimize disruption to the client environment during project implementation and ensure project meets all client requirements. Ensure no disruption to client operations during project implementation

Ensure proper project closure

This is a “process driven” position with heavy emphasis on documentation.

SKILLS

A minimum of 5 (five) years related Project management experience in a multi discipline construction environment dealing with consultants, contractors and multiple stakeholders.

Related project management credentials and Engineering Technology or related construction discipline certificate

valid driver’s license

Demonstrated ability to manage numerous projects in varying stages of completion concurrently and meet monthly cash flow objectives.

Excellent computer skills in such areas as Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), Microsoft

Project and working knowledge of J.D. Edwards will be an asset

Demonstrated ability to motivate project teams

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Budgeting and financial reporting experience

Excellent customer service/client relation skills

SALARY

Salary $65,000 - $75,000 + bonus + excellent benefits and room for growth.
