Role an International Engineering Company’s Property Management Division is currently seeking a Portfolio Services Officer (PSO) for their Winnipeg office. My client must have someone in this role with strong management experience. This position reports to the Technical Manager and as the primary point of contact for internal Technical issues, my client requires advanced interpersonal and problem-solving skills coupled with an understanding of property/facility Management requirements. Responsibilities include coordination and supervision of 4 staff members within the Western Region to ensure region meets all requirements. There will be Interaction with National Managers and National Health & Safety Coordinator to ensure statement of work requirements are maintained and reviewed on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate will be able to assist with facility audits relating to all building requirements, such as reviewing and verifying service records, logbooks, related code compliances and contractor conformity. Further, responsibilities include writing and submitting comprehensive reports detailing findings and supplying supporting documentation and solutions. There will be coordination, development and delivery of Operations and Maintenance projects as directed by the Technical Manager and maintaining of a working knowledge of all client work processes and procedures, workplace culture and policies essential for effective Technical support service delivery.
Skills Qualifications include a minimum 4-5 years of industry related experience, preferably in the property management, facility management or real estate industry. Superior client management/customer service and supervisory experience is required. Advanced knowledge of building systems, construction practices and related code/legislative requirements would be a plus in addition to general knowledge of health & safety legislation, codes of practice, and internal standards and guidelines relating to contractors within the managed facility.
