My client, a Large Property
Management firm, is seeking a Senior Building Operator for their Commercial Building
Portfolio in Calgary.
This position oversees all aspects of building operations, including
preventative maintenance, as well as liaising and addressing client issues and
concerns. The Senior Building Operator
role will also be involved with providing technical support and guidance with
regard to safety, environmental, quality assurance and project management. This position is responsible for backing up
absent Building Operators, and supporting Property Managers with tasks and
projects. The Senior Building Operator reports
to the Property Manager and responsibilities include overall site
responsibilities and regular building maintenance The ideal candidate will assume
responsibility for all aspects of operations at their assigned site including supervision
and monitoring of employees and subcontractors while they are on-site plus
working with Property Managers in effectively carrying out their property
management activities, serving as both a gauge of service quality as well as a
technical resource within areas of responsibility; OH&S, Quality Assurance
and Contract/Tender specifications and ensuring that the terms of contracts are
met including reporting requirements and that specified standards are adhered
to in accordance with contract provisions. The candidate must have a minimum of
a 4rth Class Power Engineering ticket and a valid Driver’s License and clean
Driver’s Abstract in addition to a minimum of five years hands-on building
operations experience, preferably in a commercial office environment and excellent
knowledge of building systems and a completed Health and Safety training. The
Building Operator will coordinate the organization, staffing, and operational
activities for the inspection of buildings and facilities including maintenance
and construction. This position pays $63,000 - $64,000
+ $6K retention bonus + 10% bonus!!! Depending on Experience + excellent
