My client is a full service electrical and mechanical company and an industry leader in commercial, industrial and institutional projects throughout the lower mainland. They are a growing company and engaging in a variety of high profile projects in Vancouver  anywhere from smaller/midsize  to larger in scope. Currently, my client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrician within their Vancouver office.   

Responsible for performing moderate to high skilled work related to the efficient, safe and timely installation, maintenance and repair of electrical equipment on a construction site.

  • Install and perform preventive maintenance on all facility electrical equipment and components.
  • Installs and repair various distribution panels, motor control centers, protective devices, fixtures, conduits, wires, instrumentation and related equipment in accordance with electrical code requirements.
  • Completes accurate, timely and legible administrative documents as required.
  • Assists in maintaining an adequate inventory of electrical equipment and components, including recommending replacement stock as required.
  • Assists in training novice electrical staff in safe working practices and the operation and care of specific electrical instrumentation and related equipment.
  • Works alongside and assists other trades as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Experience

Must be a certified Journeyman with BC trade Electrical qualification or Interprovincial Red Seal certification. Has the ability to work in a team environment and able to work on small to large projects with minimal supervision. Must have strong problem solving skills and high work standards.
