My client, best known for providing warranty and insurance services for the automotive and consumer products industries, is currently seeking a Vice President of Marketing & Communications for their Downtown Vancouver office. This position will be responsible for overseeing the Product, Marketing & Communications Departments across all operating companies. Key responsibilities include Strategic planning of corporate positioning and oversight for competitive analysis, customer segment selection and penetration plans, regarding related product positioning. This role will create business plans for new products and enhancement of current products. The VP, Marketing & Communications will work with the CEO and the other executive team members to identify and develop strategic alliances and develop and grow customer accounts in addition to overseeing marketing communications including branding, public relations, advertising, press releases, collateral materials, website design & content, and develop  and track metrics and success criteria for all marketing programs and activities. The ideal candidate will assist with annual budget projections, provide input towards annual strategic planning, monitor and report on departmental service standards, and report monthly results to President. Minimum Requirements include a Degree in Business Marketing and/or Communications, proven track record of developing effective marketing strategies, meeting targets, strategic planning and public relations experience, exceptional communication skills including verbal, documentation and presentation, and the ability to conceptualize and assist in development/enhancements of finance and insurance related products.
