ROLE

an International Engineering firm’s Property Management Division is currently seeking an Operations Manager to support a portfolio of buildings across Northern Alberta, the City of Edmonton, as well as Fort McMurray. This position reports to the Senior Director Western Canada, and is responsible for developing and maintaining repair and capital budgets, developing customer service and training and developing a functional Management team to deliver contractual requirements.

This position will have several direct reports including, the Facility Managers and support teams, in addition to liaising with the Finance Manager, QMS Coordinator, Technical Manager, Program Manager and Project Delivery Manager this position is dedicated to facilitating the delivery of Portfolio Services. The Operations Manager ensures compliance with contract requirements in addition to applicable codes and regulations.

SKILLS

The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in Real Estate Operations, be a designated Facility Management Professional (CPM, RPA, FMA, CFM) or equivalent. Knowledge or experience with Government contracting process is an asset.
